Salat-ul Janaza for our Sister Meryem Şahin

From Allah we come; To Allah is our return.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’oon

Our sister in Islam, Meryem Şahin, mother of three beautiful children, including a PGMA Girl Scout, and wife of Abdulkadir Şahin, passed away today after a long battle with cancer.

The janaza will be Thursday, June 30, 2016, after Thuhr salat (1:30PM) at The Diyanet Center of America (DCA) inshaAllah. Burial proceedings will follow at Columbia Memorial Park (12005 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029). Later, after Asr salat, a Qur’an recitation will take place at DCA.

May Allah, forgive her and elevate her station among those who are rightly guided. Ameen.
