Fitness Night at Diyanet Center of America, Mar 3

iheartswimmingdolphinfunAll PGMA Girl Scouts are invited to participate in a night of fitness and fun at the Diyanet Center of America this Friday night, March 3, 2017, 7 – 10PM.

Several guidelines must be followed for safety and modesty:

  • This event if for Girl Scouts and female parents/guardians only. No tagalongs, boys of any age, toddlers or small children.
  • Brownies and Daisy’s must be accompanied by a female parent/guardian.
  • Swimming dress code must be followed. No midriff showing. Cover up must come to the knees. Swimming material is required. (No cotton, sweats, or jeans in the pool.)
  • Permission forms are required. Parent/Guardians must bring permission forms and sign in their Girl Scouts. Do not drop off your child and leave without signing them in.

Parent volunteers are needed. Please email Alia Kemet at alia [dot] kemet [at] gmail [com] to offer your help.

*Note: Daisies & Brownies must be accompanied by a female parent/guardian. Girls without a parent/guardian will participate in open gym during their scheduled swim time.

This event includes both badges, safety instruction, range time, all materials to earn both badges and pizza lunch. Girls must wear weather appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes & vest. Girls must also bring a cell phone with camera or digital camera to the event. This is a High Adventure activity so girls need to be in good physical condition to participate. Five (5) spots are available on a first-paid, first-served basis.

Spring Lodge Camping & Outdoor Team Building, Mar 31 – Apr 2

springCampCadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors are going lodge camping together inshAllah! Lodge camping is a way for girls to experience camping without being exposed to the elements overnight. Girls will work on badges and participate in team building activities. We will be focusing on activities designed to build leadership and communication skills among the girls. Register for camp between now and March 10.

Note: Girls should eat dinner before they arrive Friday night. Dinner Friday will not be provided.
