Three Cheers for Animals Daisy Journey-in-a-Day, Apr 29

3-cheers-girl-bookInshaAllah, Daisies will experience a Journey-in-a-Day at the Chesapeake Children’s Museum in Annapolis on Saturday, April 29, 2017. On this fantastic animal journey, Daisies will learn about different animals, how caring for animals links with caring for themselves, make a lot of crafts inspired by nature but showing diversity among individuals, and do a Take Action project that educates the community about an animal related issue. The Daisies will complete the Red Robin, Birdbath and Tula awards.

Brownie Inventor & Home Scientist Badge Workshops, Mar 18

The Brownies will visit the Chesapeake Children’s Museum (CCM) in Annapolis on Saturday, March 18, 2017 inshaAllah. They will be taking two workshops to complete the Inventor and Home Scientist badges. Please meet at CCM at 9:45AM. Pick up is at 2PM.

Directions to Chesapeake Children’s Museum: From West of Annapolis: 
Take Route 50 east, use Exit 22, Aris. T. Allen Blvd. Stay on this (don’t get off at Riva Road) as it becomes Forest Drive. Turn left at the 4th traffic light, Hilltop Lane. Turn left at the first traffic light, Spa Road. Pass Gentry Court and Spindrift Way on your right. Take the next right, Silopanna Road. Look for the CCM sign on your left at the stop sign. Plenty of parking in the lot.

Junior Get Moving! Journey at Chesapeake Children’s Museum, Dec 25

juniorGetMovingAwardThe Junior Get Moving! Journey is all about energy: carbon footprint, green buildings, energy audits and conservation. Girls will learn about ways to reduce their personal energy use; learn how buildings use energy; and work with their troop to tackle an energy-related issue in their community.

Juniors will be completing their Get Moving! Journey at the Chesapeake Children’s Museum on Sunday, December 25, 2016. Girls should arrive at 8:45AM with weather appropriate clothing, vest, Get Moving! Journey book, and a bag lunch. Two snacks will be provided.
