Junior Drawing Badge Workshop, Jan 10

junior_drawing_largeJuniors will work with artists to complete their Drawing badge at Greenbelt Community Center, Saturday, 10 January, 2015, 10:15AM – 3PM. To earn their Junior Drawing badge, girls will learn techniques to make their drawings even better. They will experiment with different materials, and learn about shading, perspective and other skills that graphic artists use. No experience necessary!

Girls should wear comfortable clothing and vest, and bring a bag lunch. No tagalongs. Because this is a pre-paid event there are no refunds.

Overnight Lodge Camping at Camp Winona, Feb 13 – 15

campWinonaPatchLodge Camping is a way for Girl Scouts to experience camping without being exposed to the elements. Cadettes will work on their journey as well as the Night Owl and Science of Happiness badges. In addition, there will be archery and SWAPS. Because camping requires equipment, there will be an equipment meeting prior to the event.

The start date is a regular troop meeting day, but please note that Cadettes will meet at Camp Winona. All girls should be at Winona before 9PM; after that time the gates will be closed. All girls should be picked up between 12:30 – 1PM on Sunday, February 15. Parents who chaperone must be registered Girl Scouts volunteers. No tagalongs permitted.

Note: Dues must be paid before girls can pay for camping.
