Troop 3480 final trip of the 2014 – 2015 scouting year will be to The Capital Wheel to learn about the science and engineering behind the Wheel. We’ll chat with the Engineer, take a ride and also receive a participation patch from The Capital Wheel.
Note: There will be two time slots — 11:15AM and 2:15PM. The entire program, including the ride, will last approximately 30 – 45 minutes. Please carpool. Lunch and parking is on your own.

Girls and Booz Allen Hamilton mentors participate in fun outdoor activities like the Log of Death and Rushing River that teach girls how to achieve success through trust, communication, and strategy. As they conquer this challenging rope course, they experience firsthand how to achieve success as part of a team.
On Saturday, April 11th, The George Washington University is hosting a great, FREE event called STEMosphere®, which is part of a larger event for educators called Share Fair. STEM = Science, Technology, Engineering, Math. STEMosphere® is a huge expo of fun, hands-on, interactive STEM-inspired activities and education methods for a PreK-12 audience. Exhibitors include NASA Aeronautics, Discovery Education, the Smithsonian Science Education Center, First Robotics and more.
