On Saturday, May 31st, Troop 3480 Brownies will tour the Prince George’s County Materials Recycling Facility, see a short video describing recycling, and then watch recyclables travel through a maze of conveyer belts where they are sorted by workers and machines. Brownies should bring recyclables they have gathered to help their communities. We will be able to walk over to the conveyer belts and take action by recycling.
The tour duration is 10 – 11AM. Please arrive by 9:45AM or earlier. Girls should wear their vest and white hijab. This event fulfills some requirements for the Brownie Quest Journey. Download the permission slip and return by May 23 troop meeting.
