ATTENTION AMBASSADORS, SENIORS & CADETTES:
This Saturday, February 9th 2013, PGMA Girl Scout Troop 3480 will be offering FIRST AID CERTIFICATION TRAINING facilitated by the American Red Cross.
The training will be offered from 10AM – 3PM at PGMA and will cover the requirements for the First Aid Badge for the Ambassador, Senior & Cadette levels. The cost will be $10 per girl. Parents can also get First Aid Certified. Please email Sis. Alia ASAP at alia [dot] kemet [at] gmail [dot] com if you are planning to attend, as we are trying to get a headcount for the class.
You’ll learn basic skills in:
- First Aid: Learn how to respond to common first aid emergencies, including burns; cuts; head, neck and back injuries and more. Pediatric option available.
- CPR/AED: Learn how to respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies in adults, including the use of automated external defibrillators (AED). Adult and pediatric options available

The Service Unit World Thinking Day event is Friday, February 22, 2013 at Robert Goddard Montessori School at 7pm to 9pm. Parents must complete the permission form for girls who wish to participate in the World Thinking Day program. There is a $1 admission fee for this trip to be donated for the Girl Scouts SHARE (Share Her Annual Real Expenses) Annual Giving Campaign.
