The 2014-2015 Girl Scout year is coming to a close. Troop 3480’s last troop meeting will be June 5 inshaAllah. Let’s celebrate this year’s adventures and challenges with a fun-filled Field Day, Sunday, 31 May at Fairwood Park, 10AM – 1PM. We’ll have double dutch, kickball, Chinese jump rope, hopscotch, Chinese jacks, hula hoops, tug of war and even an obstacle course!
This is a drop-off event for Troop 3480 Girl Scouts — no tagalongs please — and parents who would like to volunteer to set up, serve, supervise for safety, and clean up.
Permission forms are due at the May 22 troop meeting this Friday or with Sis. Kori at girlScoutTroopMama [at] gmail [dot] com by May 27 so we can provide lunch for every girl inshaAllah.

InshaAllah, Brownies and Daisies will explore the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, May 16, 2015, from 11 am – 1:45 pm. They will visit the Butterfly Pavilion, Insect Zoo, Dinosaur Exhibit, and Discovery Stations throughout the museum. Registration is free and parents and tagalongs are welcomed. Girls should bring a bag lunch and $3 for a Museum fun patch.
