To earn a Girl Scout Journey Award, girls will have to team up with friends to:
- Identify a problem she wants to do something about
- Come up with a creative solution that will make a difference
- Create a team plan to make that solution a reality
- Put her plan into action
- Talk about what she learned—and what she can’t wait to do next!
Exploring new roles and busting stereotypes are just two of the activities Juniors enjoy on the aMUSE Journey. Whether it’s role-playing, speaking to actors about their characters, or starting a “mix-it-up” day to meet new classmates, girls develop increased confidence and inspire others.
Juniors will be completing their aMuse Journey at the Chesapeake Children’s Museum on Saturday, January 6, 2018. Girls should arrive at 8:45AM with weather appropriate clothing, vest, and a bag lunch. Two snacks and all other supplies will be provided.
