Girl Scouts should stay connected to the earth. Brownies will complete the Bugs badge which includes a 45-minute hike looking for where bugs live, collecting them and watching them in action. The program will begin promptly at 9:30AM at Watkins Nature Center. Latecomers may not be able to catch up.
Girls should dress appropriately for the weather and wear their Girl Scout vest and comfortable hiking shoes. Brownies can keep the insects they collect if they bring their own container. Download the permission form and turn it in with the trip fee as soon as possible. Tagalongs are welcome to explore the Nature Center and park grounds, but are not permitted to join the class or hike with the Brownies.
