Fun Fitness at Sky Zone, Apr 2 (J)

Skyzone Logo With RJuniors are celebrating the completion of their Practice with a Purpose badge with fun fitness at Sky Zone trampoline park in Columbia, Maryland.

Girls should dress in comfortable active wear. Every jumper must have a waiver to participate. Save time by completing the waiver online. Bring $2 for SkySocks which are required to jump at Sky Zone. They are yours to keep and reuse each time you visit Sky Zone. If you already have SkySocks, bring them.

Tagalongs are welcome with an accompanying adult guardian who must remain at Sky Zone for the entire duration. Parents are encouraged to join in the fun, too.

Camp Clue, Apr 2 – 3 (J/C)

Come spend the night at Camp Conowingo and see if you have what it takes to become a real forensic scientist.  Throughout the two days, girls will solve a “Whodunnit?” mystery by taking fingerprints, investigating trace evidence, and analyzing crime scene elements.  Girl Scout Juniors will earn their Detective badge from the Get Moving Journey and Girl Scout Cadettes will earn their Special Agent Badge from the Breathe Journey.

NOTES: This is an out of council event, so there will be no refunds after confirmation. Dues must be paid in full to camp. This event is primarily for girls who have not earned the badges mentioned above.

African American Life on Dickinson Plantation, Jan 30

junior_playing-the-past_largeDiscover the lives of enslaved people and the free African Americans who lived on the John Dickinson Plantation and connect their stories to your life and freedoms. We will explore family trees using clues from the past, try daily chores common on the plantation and create a plantation journal to record our thoughts and experiences.

NOTE: This program connects with the Brownie World of Girls Journey.
