Next Troop Meeting & Savannah Trip Deposit, Jan 5

NEXT TROOP MEETING
Mark your calendars. The first troop meeting of 2018 will be Friday, January 5, 2018, inshaAllah.

SAVANNAH UPDATE

Get ready for Savannah! We have 30 participants for the Girl Scout Savannah Trip! Due to weather, the troop meeting at which we planned to collect the second deposit was cancelled .
We will be collecting the second deposit at the next troop meeting on January 5 inshaAllah. Girls and parents who have made their first deposit are eligible to attend the trip. The second deposit is:
  • $50 / girls 12 and under
  • $150 / girls 13 and up
  • $150 / adults
Those who do not pay the second deposit on January 5 will have their initial deposit returned and will be removed from the Savannah trip.

Reminder: Girl Scout Savannah Mandatory Interest Meeting, This Friday, Nov 17

PGMA Girl Scouts plan to travel to Savannah, Georgia, June 19 – 23, 2018, to visit the birthplace of the founder of Girl Scouts, Juliette Gordon Low inshaAllah. Come to the Savannah Interest Meeting on Friday, November 17, 6-7:15PM at PGMA. A full itinerary and details will be provided at that time.

Package Includes:

  • Amtrak Transportation,
  • 1 night overnight train travel,
  • 3 nights hotel lodging,
  • 4 breakfasts,
  • 3 buffet or box lunches,
  • 3 full course dinners,
  • tour of Historic Savannah,
  • ecological activity (TBD),
  • Juliette Gordon Low House Museum,
  • free time at Tybee Island Beach and Savannah’s River Street District.

Cost:

$450 per person quad (12 and under)
$535 per person quad (13 and up)
$650 per person double (adults)

1st November 17, 2017 $50
2nd December 15, 2017 $50 (12 & under)
$150 (13 & up)
