Troop 3480 Brownie Scouts will be introduced to ceramic painting at Color Me Mine in Silver Spring. This activity includes a tour of Color Me Mine’s kiln room and a Color Me Mine fun patch for each girl scout.
Brownie Girl Scouts will:
- learn the basics of ceramic painting including how to apply the underglazes.
- learn how to use common design materials like stamps, stencils and tape.
- choose a piece of pottery to paint – they’ll pick one from a selection of 3 items.
Download the Brownie Day Color Me Mine Permission Form. All forms must be turned in by December 28, 2012. The $8 fee for this program is due no later than January 11, 2013.
