March Magic Teen & Outdoor Blitz, Mar. 22-23

March Magic is a teen Girl Scout event open to Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador girls who want to learn more about teen awards and other things of interest to teens. Teens who register for two teen designated workshops will also be able to register for two adult outdoor training workshops.

Early Bird, $13

  • 2 nights (Friday & Saturday)

Troop 3480 is planning to coordinate transportation from PGMA to the camp and back for the Early Bird and Full Monty options. Parents must provide transportation for the Girl Scout Day and What I Can Get options. Health forms and contact information must on file and up-to-date. For more info, contact your girl scout’s troop leader and download more info. Don’t delay: Girls Scout programs fill up quickly.

On Your Own: STEMosphere at George Washington University, Mar. 8

sharefarelogoOn Saturday March 8, George Washington University is hosting a great, free event called STEMosphere. It is an expo of fun, hands-on, interactive STEM-inspired activities for children PreK-12th grade. Exhibitors include: Smithsonian Science Education Center, Discovery Education, NASA, and more! Girl Scouts of All Ages and their leaders or adult chaperones are welcome to come to the Smith Center at George Washington University Foggy Bottom Campus at 600 22nd St NW, Washington DC. Girl Scouts must be accompanied by adult chaperones and meet volunteer essentials safety ratios. Concession snacks will be available for sale at the Smith Center.
