Islamic Relief USA presents Day of Dignity: a full day of serving the community with free food, basic necessities, service and fun on Saturday, October 18 at America’s Islamic Heritage Museum. For more info: irusa.org/dayofdignity or contact Bryan Kovalick at bkovalick@irusa.org.
Girls will participate in the Program Aide leadership training course, one of the three requirements for earning the Cadette Program Aide Award. This course will specialize in the Cookie Program. Girls who attend will then receive priority in becoming a mentor for Cookie College! Lunch and a Cookie College Patch are provided. Click to register.

Part of being a Girl Scout is earning awards. Each award has guidelines, requirements, deadlines and workshops to help you get started and define your vision. Girls can work as a team or solo, along with the help of their troop leaders/advisors.
 The Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest award in Girl Scouts, focuses on a Girl Scout Senior or Ambassador’s interests and personal journey through leadership skills, career explorations, reflection, and advocacy.

 The Girl Scout Silver Award symbolizes a Girl Scout Cadette’s accomplishments in her Girl Scout and local communities as she discovers her strengths and takes action to make the world a better place.

 The Girl Scout Bronze Award symbolizes a Girl Scout Junior’s commitment to recognizing her responsibility to her community as she connects with others to make a difference.

 The Silver Trefoil Award is a GSCNC award that focuses on community service. A girl may receive this award by providing 100 hours of service to the international and Girl Scout communities, as well as the local and federal government.
