Asalaamu Alaikum and Ramadan Mubarak,
Ramadan is the opportunity to earn many blessings. Ramadan Girl Scout week at PGMA during Ramadan starts TODAY, July 5, and ends Thursday, Jul 11, 2015.
Girls who are currently members of Troop 3480 can earn volunteer hours (along with hasanats) for either county graduation or Silver Trefoil (Cadettes / Seniors / Ambassadors). Girls will receive two service hours for setup, serving and clean up; one service hour for setup and serving.
Girls should be at the masjid at 7:45PM for set up, and wear their Girl Scout vests. Participating Cadettes, Senior and Ambassadors should email Sis Kesha at keshabdulm [at] gmail [dot] com with the days they plan to attend. Bring any forms that need to be signed on July 11.
What: Teen girls needed to help in the parking lot at the Camp Potomac Woods Training Blitz. Girls will be instructing leaders on where to park and helping leaders find the locations of their training courses. The day is divided into three shifts as listed below. These hours will count as Council hours for the Silver Trefoil Award.
