The Ladies Auxiliary to VFW Post 3150 Presents the Anti-Bullying Program, KARMA: Kids Against Ridicule, Meanness and Aggression. Girls will
- Learn about bullying,
- Watch American Girl Chrissa’s story about being bullied,
- Role play how to react to bullying, and
- Make a poster about anti-bullying for display in the local community.
Brownies will earn a KARMA patch and a chance at prizes. Bring a brown-bag lunch. (No products containing nuts or nut products, please.)
Download the permission form and KARMA Workshop form. Parents must print out and complete both forms for this event and turn them in by the October 26 troop meeting. Incomplete paperwork will not be accepted.

Troop 3480 Juniors will be checking out the Open House at Bladensburg Waterfront Park in Bladensburg, MD. Girls will learn basic fishing and canoe paddling techniques, and take a pontoon boat tour down the Anacostia River.
Register your daughter for the 2013-2014 Girl Scout year on May 3rd. Early registration will end on Friday, 31 May, our final troop meeting for 2012-2013 Girl Scout year. Registration fees have increased to $15. All troop members must be registered in order to participate. Spaces are limited, but girls currently in the troop are given priority for the upcoming fall.
