On the way to earning their Simple Meals badge, Juniors will be taking a “Steamy Asian Sensation” cooking class at Wegmans Woodmore on THIS SATURDAY, 28 March, 2-4pm. The girls will be making steamed bok choy and cashew chicken. The class is $5 per girl, and due to space, no tagalongs.
Girls should wear comfortable clothing along with their vest and white hijab. Parents: please notify Junior troop leaders of food allergies and/or dietary restrictions.

Celebrate spring with the Girl Scouts during a fun-filled and festive day at Hillwood! Explore enchanting gardens, discover glittering treasures in the mansion, putt on the green, play garden games, practice yoga in the garden, and create your own artwork. Earn a Girl Scout Daisy petal (Lupe and Gloria), Girl Scout Brownie badge (Making Friends and My Best Self), Girl Scout Junior badge (Social Butterfly and Staying Fit), or Girl Scout Cadette badge (Science of Happiness). Register no later than April 6 to receive a free participation patch.
Juniors will learn about the habitats and homes of animals at Mount Rainier Nature Center on Saturday, 21 March at 10:45AM. In addition to completing the Animal Habitats badge, this program will also help the girls on their Get Moving Journey.
