The Junior Core Camp is a one-night camping event for troops (grades 4-5). Troops will participate in activities like archery, songs and arts & crafts. Girls from all over the council will join together for this exciting, fun-filled weekend. Kapers such as flag ceremonies, Girl Scout’s Own, latrine cleaning and campsite care will be shared by attending troops. Girls and adults will sleep in glen shelters and may share a site with other troops from around the council. Meals will be provided.
Girl must have dues paid in full in order to camp. Adults must be registered volunteers to attend. Halal food and marshallows will be provided by the troop. Girls who require medication must submit it to the First Aider; girls are not to self medicate. No tagalongs. Because this is a pre-paid event there are no refunds.

The Daisy & Brownie Core Camp is a one-night camping event for troops (grades K-3). Troops will participate in activities like games, songs and arts & crafts. Girls from all over the council will join together for this exciting, fun-filled weekend. Kapers such as flag ceremonies, Girl Scout’s Own, latrine cleaning and campsite care will be shared by attending troops. Girls and adults will sleep in winterized buildings and may share a site with other troops from around the council.
Girls will work together to earn Journey awards and learn how to improve the air quality in the world while gaining valuable leadership skills. Some pre- and post-work is required to complete the Journey. Attending adults will participate in concurrent programming on leadership development and supporting girls on a Journey. After participating, girls will be ready to implement their Take Action Projects to complete the Journey, and start working on the Silver Award. During the Journey Weekend, an adult training session will be running concurrently with the girls’ sessions.
