Junior Scouts are going to revive the sunnah of archery at the Adelphi Manor Archery Range on November 16, 2013, inshaAllah.
Archery permission slips are due by the November 8 troop meeting. No permissions slips will be accepted the day of the event.
Girls should come dressed appropriately for the weather, have on tennis shoes, and bring a lunch. We will be praying Thuhr prayer on location. Per archery range rules, no tag-alongs will be allowed.

Please refer to the Uniform post on the blog about uniforms. Our troop wears vests and not sashes.
In regards to patches and journeys earned those are given out at the ‘Court of Awards’ ceremony. That ceremony is planned and executed by the girls. When they are ready then the badges and patches will be given out.
Remember that Girl Scouts is girl led, especially the older girls.
