Are you a proud Girl Scout in middle or high school? Do you need Council or International hours? Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital is hosting three leadership conferences in 2015 for middle and high school girls. Each conference will consist of interactive workshops and strong keynote sessions that will prepare you to be a stronger, more effective leader in your school, community, and even the world.
Conferences include:
- Your Turn to Lead – February 21, 2015; 10am-5pm @ Howard University Law School
- Keys to Leadership – March 21, 2015; 10am-5pm @ American University
- Encuentro de Chicas Latinas de las Girl Scouts – March 14, 2015; 10am-7pm @ George Mason University
We need YOU to help make these conferences wonderful by serving as a Girl Scout Conference Champion!
The role of a Girl Scout Conference Champion:
- Register for one of the 2015 GS Leadership Conferences
- Spread the word about the conferences through all of your networks (social media, your school, extra-curricular activities, etc.)
- Make sure at least one friend who is not a Girl Scout registers to attend the conference with you
- Serve as a conference greeter on the day of the conference you attend (optional) – this role is eligible for Council/International hours
- Conference Champions will receive a special patch and the opportunity to be included on the Nation’s Capital website.
